$$$ Cash for Trash $$$


The Jurong Town Council launched thea first-ever GRC-wide "Cash For Trash" programme to drive home the message that it pays to care for the environment on 09-Dec-2007.

In response to the above programme, on 27-Jan-2008, the Pioneer Zone 8 RC jointly organised the "Cash for Trash" NEA Block Party at the Blk 656 Linkway building, the Oscar. The responses from the residents were overwhelming. After the event, upon the requests from the residents, Colex set up a new kiosk at our neighbourhood - at the Blk 658B every sunday to collect the recyclables and pay in cash.

Bring your recyclable items such as newspapers, plastic bottles, clothings and such, down to the Oscar linkway every Sunday, from 9am to 12 noon and trade these items for cash!
